What is Counselling?
Put briefly, counselling provides a dedicated space to voice your concerns, anxieties, and worries to a trained professional. My role is to help you navigate these feelings and create a plan to understand and ultimately alleviate the burdens you are carrying.
After our initial meeting, we will begin to piece together the "why" behind your concerns. Working together, we will make sense of both your conscious thoughts and the subconscious patterns that may be influencing your life.
Because these challenges often develop over many years sometimes reflecting lifelong trauma there is no "standard" timeframe for healing. Every journey is personal. Instead of rushing toward a deadline, we will meet, explore, and plan a path forward that allows you to process everything in your own way and at your own pace.
Most importantly, I am here to listen, not to judge.
Individual therapy
Many people find the idea of therapy daunting. The thought of opening up to a stranger can make you feel vulnerable, but my role is simply to create a safe, open space for you to share what is on your mind.
I am here to listen not to offer a rehearsed response, but to truly understand your experience without judgment. Once we have a clear picture of your concerns, we can work together to find a positive way forward and a healthy solution. My goal is to help you set down the burdens you’ve been carrying, so you can step out of the shadows and live authentically as your true self.
